About us

WAL Mess- und Regelsysteme GmbH was founded in April 1992 by Dipl.-Ing. Detlef Wölbern. Today, we count many well-known companies around the world among our customers.
 
Thanks to the diverse and long-standing experience of our employees, WAL can now call itself an ‘old hand’ in the field of measurement and control technology. Among other things, we develop and produce measuring systems and control units for industrial use.
 
In the food industry, we are primarily concerned with creating customer-specific solutions. This includes both pure measurement technology and the project planning of complete systems. We work very closely with companies such as Siemens and Endress + Hauser. With components from Siemens – or, for the American market, from Rockwell Automation – we can meet specific automation and visualisation requirements, or, as a system partner of Endress + Hauser, implement complete measurement systems tailored to customer specifications.
 
We have become known worldwide in our niche industry thanks to our extensive process know-how in the dairy sector – and here in particular in the sub-sector of butter production. In addition to our own machines and systems, we also automate and visualise entire production processes – from cream collection and cream processing to butter production, packaging and fully automatic CIP cleaning.
 
We are proud that our name WAL today stands for the high-quality execution of countless projects and highly reliable machines and systems.
